Education Strategy

Creating an education strategy is a critical step in deploying a new teaching and learning platform. Having a viable and disciplined educational planning process is crucial to ensure your education will deliver the goals and outcomes you seek.

At VALUGEN we follow a systematic process, starting with interviewing key stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned to the education goals. We perform needs assessments to understand and outline the true learning needs and behaviors of the key target audiences. Discussing and defining learning outcomes we determine the best learning methods and technologies to deploy the contents. Using a Logic Model helps to ensure logical linkages between all the elements that are needed for the program. Finally, we develop the strategy, resource plan, and assessments and tracking metrics to measure learning and performance.

Program Design

VALUGEN applies modern adult and problem based learning principles to all your program design. Our qualified educationalists work with your teams, subject matter experts (SMEs) as well as editorial teams to identify professional practice gaps or patient outcomes gaps. We apply educational methods and learning tasks in a manner to fill competency gaps (knowledge, skills, attitudes). We aim to design assessment tools to facilitate and enhance reflection on learning and performance.

In cooperation with the editorial teams our instructional and visual designers will define the learning objectives and outcomes of the educational activities, e.g., storyboards. They will create a “look and feel” and the right interactivity to engage and motivate learners to immerse themselves in their learning pathway to improve their personal professional performance.

For VALUGEN, Continuing Professional Development is about crafting Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs), individualized learning goals and pathways. PLPs are a powerful tool for nurturing learners’ growth and empowering them to take an active role in their learning and development. The general goal of a PLP is to bring greater coherence, focus, and purpose to the decisions learners make about their education.
